Reebok unveils Sonic 3-themed sneaker collection

Reebok is launching a Sonic the Hedgehog sneaker collection ahead of the release of Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Why it matters: It's another major tie-in ahead of the release of the third Sonic film, and a follow-up to the franchise's previous sneaker endeavours with PUMA and Fila.

What's happening: The lineup features adult and kids' designs inspired by Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails, with prices ranging from $60 to $140. Fans can shop the collection on Reebok's U.S. website.

• The adult line includes the Sonic FLOATZIG 1 ($140 USD), a performance runner with Green Hill Zone checkered design and a gold ring pull tab; and the Knuckles CLUB C REVENGE ($100 USD), a red suede sneaker featuring a metal spike stud on the heel.
• Kids' options features styles like the Tails CLASSIC LEATHER STEP N’ FLASH ($65 USD) with light-up heels and a suede twin-tail attachment, and the Sonic ZIG N’ GLOW ($65 USD).
